Please don't throw em rotten eggs.

HELLO!

I've got good news and bad news.

Good News: WE GOT THE PHOTOS FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHERS...FINALLY!!!

Bad News: There were 10 photographers...so each of them took about more than few hundred pictures...so that adds up about roughly 1 thousand plus pictures or more...and of course, the dudes were using DSLR's...which means each photo sizes up to roughly few hundred or thousand kb per pic....

SO i'm very sorry to say you peeps will have to wait A LIL WHILE LONGER. We need time to compile and sort it out. Then we have to upload all of them thousand pictures. Requires lots of time ya know. =))

Well, it's my turn to say something now.

Hello to all.

First, on behalf of the prom commitee: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ATTENDING PROM NIGHT 2008. It was certainly a splendid night, filled with pretty girls and dashing boys. No wait, i have to say ladies and gentlemens, right?

=)

Of course, we are terribly sorry for the slight trouble with the seating arrangements. Sincere apologies.

It was definitely a night to remember. I remember i was sitting at the reception, shaking everyone's hand and thanking them for attending. And i got this cheeky reply:

'Of course i come la, paid already what....'

Memories like that are priceless,no?

I hope you've all enjoyed yourselves to the max. Special thanks to all the performers and Hilton. Not forgetting all the sponsors we got. Last but not least, a sorry and thank you goes out to all the prom commitee members from me. I know i've made mistakes(a lot of them) but i really did enjoy working with you guys. Thank you.

Finally, to all the peeps out there. Yes, don't worry, the pictures that were taken by our photographers are now currently being compiled and uploaded as we speak. Just give us a little time and we'll be posting them up here or with a link. After all that enjoying, we the prom committee would love if you could contribute to our cause. Please send all prom photos that you have to dicalto@gmail.com It's only a small gesture for the benefit of everyone.

OH AND ONE LAST,LAST THING. HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY TO JULIEN LIM, THE LADY WHO WORKED HARD WITH US TO BRING YOU YESTERNIGHT'S PROM!!

So, be sure to frequent this site and tell your friends about it.

Goodbye my dear friends.

So Long Farewell, I Bid You Say Adieu.

Adieu! So long and farewell folks.

This is the last day of our journey together. The last intersection. Now as everyone goes their separate ways, I can only represent the entire prom committee to bid you good luck and farewell one last time.

We would love to extend our thanks to all attendees for their cooperation in making this prom a success. Thank you so much for making it such a splendid night. I would also like to apologize for the inconvenience caused due to the seating arrangements. So sorry.

Last but not least, I would love to tell you all that I had a wonderful night as well. It has been a night to remember and as I walk down memory lane one day, recounting my past, this would be the one event that will definitely appear in my mind. Only through tonight did I really learn what it means to be a high school student. For me, tonight was the real graduation. As the clock drew closer to midnight, I felt sadder and sadder. This was truly the final moment in which all of us will experience together as students and as friends.

My life in high school was not always pleasant and often filled with unhappy memories of sorrow and loss. But when I come to think of it, I know that I will miss those moments. There will never be another first love nor another first kiss. All those now lie in the mosaic piece called high school. I have had bitter memories and sweet encounters. For me, I will not just treasure the sweet ones but also the bitter ones as well. Why? Because each and every memory is significant and worth remembering. To each and every person that has crossed paths with me in my life, I say thank you for giving me the chance to know you.

I hope that every faithful reader of our prom blog will continue to keep in touch with their friends and keep the flame of friendship alive. After all, while love is blind, friendship closes one eye. Remember all those hard times we had in our high school lives? Remember the heartbreaks and heartaches? It was always our friends that stood by us. Friends are forever my dear schoolmates. Friends are forever.

Love,
Low Shimin Ian

FINAL (i mean it) UPDATE

HELOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

you probably don't even care that i was missing.

ANYWAYS! I know you're all very excited, and so are we! Here are a few things that you should know:

1)please be reminded that the dress code is STRICTLY FORMAL. If we deem what you wear tomorrow night aint appropriate, our bouncers will kindly barr you from entering the ballroom.

2) we have CHANGED ballroom. That is to say, we're not using the junior ballroom. I'm sure you're smart enough to find the actuall ballroom we're using, i mean, they are only TWO ballrooms there.

3) Concerning tickets, IF you have lost your ticket, well, thank you for making our lives harder. Just come to registration and find your name on the list. IF your name isn't on the list, we will conclude that you DID NOT buy a ticket and therefore entry is forbidden.

4) IF you have sold or bought any tickets from other people, well, PLEASE inform us ASAP. As in, tell us who you sold your ticket to OR who have you bought your ticket from. We don't want any mess-ups tomorrow night.

5) WELL. Some people still want to ask so here it is:

CHS PROM NIGHT 2008
Date: 13th Dec (Sat)
Time: Begins at 7pm. Ends roughly about 11 or later.
Venue: KL HILTON Ballroom.
Dress Code: STRICTLY FORMAL

6) PLEASE DO NOT WORRY ABOUT SEATING ARRANGEMENTS. You will definitely have a seat that night.

That's all for now. SEE YOU TOMORROW!!!

Update. Countdown begins.

Terribly sorry for the long hiatus peeps. Can't blame me, i'm a busy guy. haha.

So, some important updates.

1) The nominations for Prom King and Queen are officially closed. Sorry for the sudden change in plans, but the commitee decided it would be easier if we took matters into our hands. Don't worry, it'll be a fair voting. Not like our country's politics. >.<

2) Tickets have been distributed during Graduation Day. IF you have NOT received your ticket, please hurry and approach any commitee members. Worse comes to worse, you'll get it during prom night itself.

3) We, the prom commitee, will have no say if you decide to sell your ticket to a third party. But if you do, kindly inform us, because the ticket you're selling has your name attached to it. We don't want any unwanted complications during registration.

4) Table reservations will be closed end of this month. Either leave your list here or email it to me. enigmavictor@hotmail.com

5) Last but not least, if you guys haven't noticed yet, we have exactly a month left to prom!

Good Luck in your SPM and we'll see you then!
